Right in the heart of Northeast Tarrant County. Home to the Birdville ISD. This is a beautiful home that
desperately needed some help to keep it cool. The attic had adequate ventilation, but only about 4" to 6"
of rock wool insulation.
These shots are not exactly position sensitive before and after, but you get a very good feel for the difference
foil radiant barrier and virgin Owens-Corning fiberglass can make.
Insulation is now up to an R-38, ~14.5".
Doesn't this make you want to fall back and make insulation angels? No? Must just be me!
